(2027 HEATING PROGRAM)
PLEASE READ HOMEBOUND CHANGES
Medically homebound households are defined as ALL household members have disabilities confining them to the home. The household members must be unable to travel to an intake center to apply for LIHEAP assistance because of a medical condition which qualifies the person for home services through Medicaid or Medicare and/or home delivered meals, home health agency services, and/or homemaker services. If your entire household is not 65 and older and you do not meet the homebound classifications, you are not eligible to apply at this time. Please verify your homebound classification by going to our webpage, www.ndo.org , clicking on services and then Energy Assistance.
If you meet homebound classifications, you must schedule your appointment with the office that you live in. Do not schedule that appointment here. You can find their information on our website, www.ndo.org .

The appointment scheduler is set to open for the households where everyone in the home is 65 and older and/or medically homebound (you cannot leave your home without assistance).
DISCLAIMER:
If the applicant has a credit of $1,000 or more on the billing statement, the applicant is ineligible for LIHEAP benefits.
**If an appointment is made during this time period and it is found that you are not eligible, your appointment will be cancelled without notice.**
